Vivienne and Dave are two of the sweetest, most genuine people you will ever meet. The minute we met I knew we would be instant friends and work with one another. Our plans for our weddings sounded so similar and we had so much in common, I knew it was meant to be =)

Fast forward a month or so and we are shooting their engagement session. SO MUCH FUN. It was like hanging out with old friends and laughing the whole time. Vivienne is a total girl crush (hello, bright yellow necklace) and the biggest sweet heart, and Dave is tough as nails with a heart of gold. They are amazing. They are amazing together.

We had an amazing, warm spring evening and after hanging out for a bit, we met up with their fur babies and took some family photos.

I am so excited to shoot their wedding this summer and see what they have up their sleeves. Thank you guys for being so wonderful and welcoming me so wholly into your life.

One of my best friends is the amazing beauty and brains behind the fabulous Pink & Honey. I have gushed about her before, and trust me, she is amazing! Everything that girl touches turns to magic!

Steph + Sandor// Vancouver Hart House Wedding//Calgary Wedding Photographer

I met Steph + Sandor when I shot Jackie and Andrews wedding last summer. Jackie and Steph are sisters, and are two of the loveliest ladies around.

I was so excited when Steph contacted me about shooting her wedding, I love their entire family and have enjoyed working with them immensely. Another bonus; Steph and Sandor were getting married in Burnaby Bc. Believe it or not, I had never been to Vancouver let alone Burnaby!!

Mike and I took it as a small vacation prior to wedding season getting started and drove down a few days before the wedding to scope things out! The weather was gorgeous for the days leading up to the wedding, very un-Vancouver like...the day of the wedding was calling for rain so naturally we crossed our fingers and hoped that it would pass!

I woke up on the morning of the wedding and the rain was coming down as forecasted. Steph and Sandor were still in great spirits and the wedding was amazing!! We took some photos in the rain, and then after lunch the sun cleared and it was gorgeous! We escaped outside for some more photos before the couple escaped in their vintage car for a drive around the city.

Steph and Sandor, thank you a million times for bringing me out to shoot your wedding. I have loved getting to know you and your families and have truly felt like more of a friend on every occasion. You are the best!!
